The ST1300 brings the performance of the Honda CBR, together with the power and class of the Goldwing Tourer. Once again, Big Red delivers a state of the art machine, that cannot help but excel in it’s class. But then again, no-one would expect anything else, it is a Honda!

The ST1300 has a smooth and super powerful, liquid cooled, 1261cc engine. Experience the power on this Sports Tourer, over long distances, and you won’t be forgetting it in a while. Along with dual engine counterbalances to cut vibration, this ride is extra smooth and, quite simply, effortless…. The engine is a 90° V4, longitudinally mounted, to improve the bikes drive-train efficiency, and increases power flow. Plus, the PGM-FI system - Programmed Fuel Injection - with eight holes per injector and an automatic en-richer, which ensures a precise mix of air and fuel, regardless of weather conditions. While the ST1300 might be a power horse, and have a big 7.7Gallon fuel tank, it is also fitted with dual exhaust catalysers, which helps to reduce emissions. That’s Honda, tirelessly paying attention to every detail, in pursuit of the ultimate riding experience.

The Honda ST1300 has a lightweight, Twin Spar Aluminum Frame for optimum rigidity. Plus, an aluminum swing-arm, specifically matched to the frame. Together, they provide class handling, creating a perfect balance, between strength and tuned flex. The ST1300 is available with an ABS, anti locking brake system. The standard ST1300 has a linked braking system; With dual, full-floating, disc brakes, with LBS three-piston calipers on the front, and a single 316mm disc, also with LBS three-piston calipers, on the back. This is a Sports Tourer, offering the features and performance, usually, only seen in the Sports Bike class. But then, that’s Honda, always aiming for the top of it’s class. There is little doubt, the Honda ST1300 has achieved excellence. The digital ignition is computerized, with three-dimensional mapping and electronic advance. The ST1300 has 45mm HMAS™, cartridge fork suspension, on the front, with 4.6inches travel. At the back, it has the HMAS™ gas propelled single shock suspension, with spring preload adjustability and 4.8inches travel.

The ST1300 weighs in at 719 pounds. The bodywork is designed to keep wind resistance to a minimum. It also sports an electronic, push button adjustable, windscreen, with a height range of almost seven and a half inches and a thirteen degree angle range. Set it high for protection on the motorway. Bring it down, for optimal airflow, through the city streets. Equipped with great touring features, and some seriously big, detachable saddle-bags, the Honda ST1300 Motorcycle is just about ‘booted and suited’ for anything.
