As you would expect, the Sabre boasts the exclusive, Honda, three valve cylinder head engine, with dual spark plugs for each cylinder. Meaning, this baby bangs out enough low end, and mid range acceleration to deliver plenty of performance on the open road. As well as, more than a gratifying ride around town. Thanks to the Sabre’s rubber mounted engine, plus an offset dual pin crankshaft, riders can enjoy a smooth, yet powerful ride.

As well as delivering power, performance and a smooth ride, the Honda Shadow Sabre has several maintenance free features. Including, digital ignition, a 14amp hour battery, hydraulic valve lash adjusters and automated cam chain tensioners. The Sabre also has an ultra reliable five speed transmission, and electric starter system. Chrome covers finish off the crankcase, left, rear engine and clutch. Which, combined with the chrome dual exhaust and black, finned cylinders, make the style of the Shadow Sabre, undeniably, ‘street rod’. To add to the look, and provide a comfortable and ergonomic position, the Sabre also has a long and low, 64.6 inch custom steel frame, with a dragster style, padded seat, and aluminum semi-swept handle bars. The Honda Shadow Sabre Motorcycle strikes an excellent balance between style, plush comfort and tight handling. Especially for a custom cruiser, it is certainly among the best for handling. Handling is also made easier by the wide and low 18 inch, 120/90 front tire, with an extended 41mm fork and 4.7 inch extended travel. Plus, a massive 15 inch, 170/80, tire on the back, with five position adjustable, spring preload, dual shocks. Both wheels are 3 spoke and made from cast aluminum, which has been machined to a satin finish. Altogether, these features go a long way to create a smooth ride, as well as produce a cool and cut, custom look. Along with a 4.2 gallon tank, the Honda Shadow Sabre Motorcycle was built for long distance cruising. Even so, when it looks and feels this good, you definitely won’t want to leave it at that!

All that performance needs stopping power, and Honda have provided more than enough. The Honda Shadow Sabre has a single, 316mm disc on the front, with a twin-piston caliper. Plus, a single-piston caliper and 276mm brake disc at the rear. The Sabre is packed with additional features, and Honda’s accessory package for this bike is probably their most extensive.
