Honda Fury Motorcycle Parts & Information The new Honda Fury Motorcycle has finally arrived. Once again, Big Red has turned out one of the sweetest, coolest looking cruisers around. Definitely, among the best this Japanese giant has ever manufactured. Honda claim that there is no other bike “on any street, in any garage”, that can compare to the new Honda Fury. There is little doubt, the Fury is a unique motorcycle.
Take a look, an you will be casting your eyes upon one of the most inspired “custom chopper” designs around. Classically familiar, the Honda Fury features a high Head-Pipe, tyre hugging fenders and a backbone frame tube, that is oh so elegantly exposed. Boasting some of the sleekest lines, the tall, triangulated steering head, 71.24 inch stretched wheelbase and raked out front end flow seamlessly into the lean, teardrop shaped fuel tank. With the seat virtually skimming the pavement, the Honda Fury has the all important chopper stance, which makes her look just as good as she feels.
The 2010 Honda Fury Motorcycle was
unveiled to the public at the New York, IMS show. Honda say
that the new Fury was built for riders who are looking for a
radically styled chopper. As well as some affordable and
reliable Honda durability. The response of the public has been
hot, and the dealers are reported to be “over the moon”, and
who could blame them with a showcase like this! When you start
up the Honda Fury, she also sounds as good as she looks.
Although the exhaust system is different on the Honda Fury,
the engine is a fuel injected version of the Honda VTX1300
cruiser, which increase torque. It has a liquid cooled,
V-Twin, 1312cc engine with three valve cylinder and dual plug
combustion. It also has the same single crankpin and a
52degree “Vee” angle. However, the cams and cylinder heads of
the Honda Fury engine are different to the VTX1300, as well as
the port shapes. The radiator sits snugly at the front of the
Honda Fury engine, in between the dual down tubes of the
frame. In an unique patented arrangement, the radiator hose is
hidden underneath the valve cover. There’s not a lot to
indicate, this engine is liquid cooled! |
