As well as being crowned “Best Middleweight Super Sport”, by experts within the industry. And, just in case that still leaves you with any doubts, as to the superiority of the CBR600, it has also won the World Super Sport Championships six times, on the trot. Straight from Honda’s MotoGP design studios, this machine is loaded with some of the most advanced, and sweetest features. All of which set this machine, well apart from the competition.

The Honda company are famous for their expertise and skill, with regards to keeping the balance, between performance and handling: Both on and off the track. The CBR600 is the lightest middleweight Super Sport currently in production. Offering all the performance, horsepower and handling a rider expects from a bike in it’s class. Plus some… The Honda CBR600 and Honda CBR1000 have a combined Anti-Lock Braking system, featuring the very first ABS system, used within the Super Sport class. The CBR’s all new, combined, ABS electronically measures the input of the rider on the front and rear brakes. In some instances, the system will not allow the rider to use both. This ensures even distribution between the front and rear, which provides more balance. Especially important when facing less favorable weather conditions.

Like many bikes in it’s class, the CBR600 has steering dampers. However, they don’t have the added benefit of being designed by Honda! The Honda Electronic Steering Damper (HESD) adjusts automatically, depending on the vehicle speed, as well as the handle-bar deflection speed. Yet another innovative and unique design from Honda. The HESD makes the CBR600 a highly responsive machine, capable of delivering high speed handling, as well as low speed maneuverability. Honda is a company who are dedicated to manufacturing performance bikes, which set the technical standard, within the industry. Without doubt, the new Honda CBR600 Motorcycle proves their point. Power to weight, the CBR600 offers flawless handling, and boasts impeccable balance. Among the middleweights, the Honda CBR600 is guaranteed to provide the ultimate Sports Bike experience. Ride out on this, and watch others fold around you!

Driving the CBR1000 is an inline four-cylinder, liquid cooled, bore/stroke, 599cc combo engine, with a dual stage injection system - DOHC four valves per cylinder. Each cylinder has two, twelve hole Denso injectors; boasting immediate, high rpm performance, plus a measured and clean performance at lower rpm. The Honda CBR600 has an Ignition Interrupt Control System, which interrupts during up shifts, and so relieves shock load on the transmission. The new CBR1000 has Honda’s exclusive, MotoGP derived, Unit Pro-Link®, spring reload, single shock, rear suspension, with adjustable compression damping, and 5.1inches travel. On the front, it has an exclusive Honda design, 41mm inverted cartridge fork, with adjustable compression damping, and 4.7 inches travel. The CBR600 also has a computerized, digital transistor, Ignition; Just like it’s big brother, as well as 3D mapping. All these exclusive features were developed using Honda’s many years of racing bike experience. True, state of the art technology. Be sure, there’s absolutely nothing average about the Honda CBR600 Motorcycle.
